THE REVOLUTIONARY NEXT GENERATION
PARKING MODE ENERGY SAVING 2.0Energy Saving 2.0 is a revolutionary development of parking mode.
With the greatly reduced amount of electricity consumption, the dashcam will be at a standby up to 24 days / 576 hours
Once an impact is detected, the dashcam will wake up within a second and record for the next 20 seconds of a period.U1000 Energy Saving 2.0 Standby Time
* Based on 4,500mAH battery (BAB-50)
* Variables: Temperature, the efficiency of the battery by usage time, and change in current after a detectionWhen the radar detects a moving object within the range, the dashcam will switch off
the energy-saving mode and ready for impact recording.
If an impact has been detected within 30 seconds, the dashcam will save 20 seconds video of before and after the impact.
If no impact is detected within the next 30 seconds, the dashcam will automatically switch back to energy-saving mode.* Radar motion detection requires optional radar module, and only enabled in energy-saving mode.
* Sedan or greater sized vehicle can be detected.
* Due to nature of Ultra-high Frequency radiation, the distance and degree of detection can be different.
* Not every object is guaranteed to be detected.
* Metal object can cause malfunction of the radar detection.
* Read the user manual before using radar moduleSUPER NIGHT VISION 2.0
DASHCAM videos recorded in a low-light environment, such as dark alleys or parking lots, may not be identifiable.
SUPER NIGHT VISION2.0 in the U1000 uses Image Signal Processing (ISP) technology
to record a clear, visible video in any situation- while driving or parked.– Comparison of Driving Recordings
– Comparison of Parking Recordings
The best duo from SONY brings enhancement in low illuminated environments,
combined with Thinkware’s state of the art image signal processing -

THINKWARE CLOUD 2.0 Beta
LIVE VIEW
Watch what is happening in real-time.
Remotely monitor your vehicle on your mobile device.* Live View: Up to 300 minutes per month (Reset on every 1st day of the month)
THINKWARE CLOUD uses your smartphone’s data connection to send and receive notifications. Carrier charges may apply
·Mobile Hotspot connectivity with a Data Plan will be required to use the THINKWARE CLOUD features.GEO FENCING
Geo-Fencing allows drivers to stay alert of vehicle location.
Whether your vehicle goes in/outside of a certain radical area, U1000 will send you to push notification through a mobile app,
THINKWARE CLOUD. This is more practical for parents, rental companies, and fleet management.
The radius can be set by typing the address or by using a pinpoint on the mobile app.
You may set 20 different radical areas with the size from 100m up to 600km.LOCATE VEHICLE
Locate Vehicle will help drivers to find the vehicle’s current location. U1000 will update its current location every 10 seconds.
Then it will display the current location with speed and the heading direction integrated on google map.STRONG IMPACT NOTIFICATION
In the event of a crash, the alert feature can help the driver to notify others of an emergency when the driver is not
in the condition to do so. The family of the owner of the car can then remotely check on the situation from their location.
When the car experiences an impact with a g-force level greater than 3g or 4g while driving, the dashcam
will automatically send a push notification alert of the impact to the user’s smartphone logged in to the THINKWARE CLOUD app.
A 20 seconds video of the incident (10 seconds before and after the incident) is also saved on the THINKWARE CLOUD server,
and a push notification alert of the video is sent to the user, which can be checked later and downloaded from the app.* Strong Impact Notification Video: Up to 100 downloads per month (Reset on every 1st day of the month)
** No new videos can be recorded while saving the 20 seconds of first impact file.
*** If a second or third impact is detected, an additional push notification alert of the impact is sent to the user’s smartphone.
And if those impacts are within 10 seconds from the first impact, it can be seen in the remaining seconds of the first impact file
(e.g. If a second impact is detected 2 seconds from the first impact, 8 seconds are the duration of the second impact video).
**** Capacity per user: 520MB – Strong impact videos of 66MB will be uploaded. (7 uploads for 1CH or 3 uploads for 2CH),
***** When the capacity is exceeded: The oldest files are deleted and overwritten with the new videos.
****** The service behaviour and the transmission may vary depending on the server environment and your mobile data.TIME LAPSE
Important clips and images may get deleted due to insufficient memory space during long continuous recordings,
especially in standard parking recording mode which requires large memory for saving 15 to 30 frames per second.TIME LAPSE MODE in the U1000 records 2 frames per second reducing the size of the video file.
This allows video recordings in parking mode to continue up to 16 times longer than other dash cams.ㆍParking recording mode can be activated upon installing the U1000 with the hardwiring cable provided.

ROAD SAFETY WARNING SYSTEM
The THINKWARE DASH CAM U1000 is equipped with the Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS),
Front Collision Warning System (FCWS), Urban Front Collision Warning System(uFCWS)
and Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW) to ensure driver safety with a voice warning.Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)
Drowsy or distracted driving greatly increases the chance of an accident on the road.
The Lane Departure Warning System will alert the driver when the vehicle goes off lane in a speed over 50 km/h.High Speed / Urban Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS/ uFCWS)
Accidents can be avoided by maintaining a safe following distance. Road Safety Warning System in the U1000 calculates
the real-time distance between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you while driving above 30 km/h in expressways
or under 30 km/h in a busy city, and issues a 3-level early warning to the driver depending on the danger of collision.Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW)
When your car is stopped at an intersection or in traffic, the intelligent guidance system informs you that the vehicle in front has started to move, preventing a delayed response just in case you stop looking ahead.
STATE OF THE ART
VIDEO ENHANCEMENT TECHNOLOGYTHINKWARE DASH CAMs are equipped with top-notch video enhancement technology on the market,
ensuring the most vivid video recordings under any circumstance.WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE
When you are driving under bright sunlight, coming out of a tunnel, or getting under the shadow of a tall building etc,
a sudden change in frontal light exposure levels can result in excessively bright or dark recordings.
The WDR function eliminates excessively bright spots on the recording
to correct its colour balance to ensure a clear image.AUTOMATIC EXPOSURE
A sudden rise of light exposure caused by strong sunlight or headlight beams of oncoming vehicle may cause
difficulties to assess the situation. Also, the lack of lighting in a dark tunnel or night driving may pose the same problem.
The automatic light exposure function controls the level of light exposure
to maintain vivid and clear video recordings in all circumstances. -
-
VARIOUS AUTONOMOUS RECORDING MODES
-
Continuous Recording Mode
This mode is activated automatically when you start the engine. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments with an auto-looping mechanism.
-
Incident Recording Mode
The Active Impact Monitoring System will automatically store the video data ten seconds before and after a collision registered by the 3-axis G-Sensor.
-
Manual Recording Mode
Similar to a video camera, you can use the Manual Recording Mode to capture events that occur in front of your vehicle whether or not it is in motion.
-
Energy Saving 2.0
The dashcam will go to sleep and soon after an impact has been detection by built-in G-senor, U1000 will wake up within a second and start recording for the next 20 seconds of the period.
